Dynamic View Restrict by User and Sharing email domains

I set up a form for staff to submit Feedback for PD. I have a contact column for Facilitators. It is not Restricted by List Values Only I need to keep it open so that the end users can add new facilitator emails.

I have a Dynamic View for the Facilitators to view their feed back. The DV is Restricted by Current User, "Facilitator". To share the DV, I used our school email domain. My thought is that anyone with the domain can see the DV, but if they are not a Facilitor, they will not be able to view any data.

Everyone can see all row. The Restict by User is not working. The AI Support Bot explained that the Contact Column must have a setting Restrict by List Values Only. Is this a true statement?

If that is true, they must have changed something recently as I have a number of DVs that are set up to filter by current user where the column in question is not restricted.

You may want to reach out to support to confirm instead of relying on AI.
