Can Smartsheet display images inline and support embedded videos?

Hi everyone 😎,

I’m new to Smartsheet and trying to figure out how media works in my sheets. Right now, when I upload photos, they only appear as small icons in the cells instead of displaying the actual image. Is there a way to show images directly inside the cells?

Also, I’d like to include short videos (like YouTube or Vimeo clips) in my project updates. Does Smartsheet allow videos to play inside the sheet, or is the only option to attach or link them?

Hi @Messi1,

When you click on a cell and paste an image, it only displays the image to the size constraint of the cell width. Try increasing the column width to display the image(s) larger. Alternately, you can double-click the image to see it's full size.

There's no way to put a video in a cell. However, you can attach a video file to any row or to the overall sheet.

You can always past a link in a cell, or sometimes you might find it handier to click on a cell and type Ctrl+k to create a hyperlink within a cell.
