It's no secret that I LOVE Smartsheet, i live and breathe in at work and in my personal life. I even use it for my budget, and alert my husband when I've changed our budget around haha. It's quite handy!
Getting certified would honestly be validation that I know what I am talking about with Smartsheet. Sometimes you get imposter syndrome, and this would just validate that I DO know Smarsheet!
It would be a personal career goal, that would elevate me as an employee. I've wanted to do it for so long, but having 2 littles in daycare makes it a challenge, financially.
I consider Smartsheet certifications to be badges of success. By highlighting successes earned, you show your (my) employer you are committed to growing and learning within your field and beyond. Pioneering to greatness!
I am ALWAYS trying to level up my Smartsheet knowledge. I have the core product and control center lead certifications, and project management is on my radar, but being a Smartsheet Certified Professional would absolutely up my game. I brand myself with Smartsheet in every way I can (go-to Smartsheet person at work, participate in the Smartsheet community as much as possible, HOARD Smartsheet swag), and this certification would be a flag I waved as often as I could!
Getting an additional Smartsheet certification would help formalize the strategic role I already play as a solutions leader in my organization. I have been a fan of Smartsheet for several years and was pleased when my current employer approved for our organization to purchase Smartsheet. There are so many features and ongoing enhancements. I received my Core Certification several months ago and will be taking my System Administrator Certification later this year. I believe to get the full benefit from the solution and to be the knowledge expert to assist others, you need to learn all the features and how to use them. This knowledge and skillset will benefit me and my organization.
Getting certification would be mostly satisfying to me, to validate that I have learned so much and am capable. That confidence would help in my career.

Our teams use Smartsheet across our org, but to be honest, I don't feel that most teams fully understand all the capabilities that Smartsheet offers, including myself. The opportunity to not only learn more, but be a source of learning for other teams, would not only benefit our collaborative and cross team functions, but it would provide me a bit of leverage for boosting my position as I continue to grow in my role at the company. Because budgets are tight, within the company and personally, winning this would be Chef's Kiss!

Because you earned the Core Product certification, we've also issued you the Builder Certificate of Achievement which is required in order to earn the Professional Certification. We no longer offer Sys Admin. We eliminated the product feature-based certs in favor of value driven titles.

I manage a scientific research facility at an institution that is being targeted by the funding freezes happening across the nation. We are trying very hard to optimize our systems and have been using the smartsheet platform enthusiastically.
