This will be my second year attending Engaged, and I really appreciated the insights I gained last time. However, as someone in the creative field, I noticed a significant gap in programming tailored to creatives and marketing teams.
Last year, the booths, mixers, and breakout sessions were light on content for our discipline—and there were no mixers specifically for creatives at all. I was hopeful this year would be different, but based on the current schedule, it seems there are even fewer creative-focused activities. Again, there are no mixers or very few dedicated sessions for creatives.
This feels like a missed opportunity. Smartsheet is a powerful tool, and it could be even more valuable by expanding and enhancing features that support creative and marketing workflows. Including us more intentionally in the event agenda would go a long way in fostering community, innovation, and adoption.
I hope someone on the Smartsheet team sees this as a call for greater representation and inclusion of creatives—not just at Engaged, but also in the product roadmap.
