I'm struggling with the "generate" portion of SS/Docusign in mappings. My document is built, created and mapped thru builder. The Docusign form uploads well (into SS) and my assignments seem to be working great until I ask to "generate and send with Docusign". I keep getting the following failed message: "The 'Employee' Role cannot have it's name and email set by Smartsheet, because it already has a name and email set in Docusign.
The created forms in builder and Docusign are for onboarding new employees. Names will continuously change. I assigned the column name (Employee Name) and column email (Employee email) in Docusign as recipients. It's my understanding, we must assign/delegate a recipient in Docusign to move forward with the form. I did this, so the SS document would autofill from the row, and then generate and send form (based on email from row) for each new employee.
I'm stuck. I cannot figure out where I've gone wrong. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it? Any help is appreciated.
