I'm looking for some advice or suggestions on sheet layout. Attached is an apartment "booking" sheet, all currently manually entered from another source form. As you can see it's not well laid out, it doesn't easily show periods when a given room might (or might not) be available. In general, just very janky.
But, I can't quite figure out how to replace it…ideally, entering a name, date, etc in one month would carry over into another month, etc. But some sort of hybrid timeline or gantt view could be better.
Key fields obviously are Room #, name, start (checkin), end (checkout) and anything to the right is somewhat incidental but useful (confirmation #), project code etc. There's no reason it has to be parent/child format by month.
