Our legacy certifications (Core Product Certification, etc) were about us and the features and functionality of our product. Our current certifications are about you - honoring the value that you bring to an organization with your command of Smartsheet.
You may have seen me mention in other posts that, as we defined what it means to be a Smartsheet Certified Professional or a Smartsheet Certified Architect, we drew inspiration from this Community and the amazing folks around the world driving value with Smartsheet. So of course, we want to make sure that anyone who earns a credential in the enhanced program, is also recognized here in the Smartsheet Community.

Many of you already hold the Builder Certificate of Achievement (BCoA) because it’s equivalent to the legacy Core Product title. So if you earned Core Product anytime since 2023, then we’ve automatically added the BCoA certificate to your Smartsheet University profile. If you’d like to add the BCoA badge to your Community Profile as well, all you need to do is request it here.
The Certified Professional title has just released, so it’s rare to spot one of those badges in the wild but they are out there and we’re planning special recognition for our first 100 title holders, so if you’re planning to pursue the certification, get started as soon as you can.
Only Smartsheet Certified Professionals are eligible to pursue the Smartsheet Certified Architect title releasing early next year.
