Hi everyone,
I recently created a new workspace to centralize all my team’s information in one place. To move all existing sheets into this new workspace, I had to become the Owner of every item.
Now I’d like to return ownership of specific sheets to the people who actually manage them. However, when I try to change the ownership at the sheet level, Smartsheet tells me that ownership must be managed at the workspace level. It seems like the workspace owner automatically becomes the owner of everything inside it.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to assign ownership of individual sheets to different users while they all live inside the same workspace?
Or is it simply not possible, and the workspace owner must remain the owner of all its contents?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
