Update Request sending individual emails instead of one link, even when time based

Hi all,

I have an automation that sends me a daily update request for students that have appointments that day, so that I can enter dates and notes. Most days I have 6-8 students. I was (at one point) able to get it to send a mass update request. One link for all the students that had appointments that day. But this semester, it is sending the update requests in individual emails, and I'm not sure what changed, or how to fix it.

The most common fix I see recommended is to make the automation time based so that all rows are triggered at once, but it is already that way. It acts the same whether

time triggers it, or if I manually trigger the automation.

If you manually selected multiple rows and chose Send Update Request, Smartsheet sent one email with multiple rows.

If your updates are:

• Notes
• Dates
• Attendance
• Outcomes

A Smartsheet Form may be better.
