Current User Chart from Metric Sheet Data

I am trying to create Current User Charts for a Dashboard. I know these charts are typically made by creating a report. However, I am dealing with more data then the report will support filtering. Currently, I have 4 sheets with a total of 54K rows (total across the 4 sheets).

So I thought about creating a Metric Sheet and populating the data in the Metric Sheet to pull into the Chart. I have even created a Contact Column in my Metric Sheet to perhaps support this. I have 18 Contacts listed that ideally I would want their activity data to display when they log into the Dashboard.

The issue is when I create the chart the View option is not available.

Has anyone tried this before or know of a possible solution?
