Creating an Asset from Sheets folder

From Sheets folder it is no longer possible to create an asset directly from this location.

• The dropdown menu has been removed from Actions
• It is now required to right click on Sheets folder
  • 
    • No visible dropdown menu for creating an asset.
    • Now required to click on Create taking the end user to this screen.
      • 
        • Options to create an asset are at the bottom of the screen instead of the top of most used in the organization
        • Even creating a Grid asset will then create a new workspace
• Issues:
  • Dropdowns removed forcing the end user to create a new workspace
  • Multiple steps have been added to create an asset, i.e., loss of time and additional capacity needed
  • Frequently used assets are at the bottom of the screen
  • The new workspace needs to be deleted with the asset moved to its proper location within Smartsheet, i.e., loss of time and additional capacity needed
• Requested: Product review this process for efficient workflow to eliminate continued addition of steps causing more not less time to create an asset.

The Sheets folder creation has been a deprecated feature for some time now.

You can still right click or use the "Create" dropdown in any other workspace or folder while in the Browse tab to create a new asset without it automatically creating a new workspace.
