Dear Smartsheet Support Team,
I am an employee at GE Aerospace and currently use the standard(Enterprise) commercial Smartsheet environment.
Recently, I noticed that our organization also provides access to Smartsheet Gov through our Microsoft 365 integration.
I am interested in using the Gov environment if it offers better security compliance and integration with our M365 tools.
To decide whether I should move my work to the Gov platform, I would like to ask a few questions:
- Functional Comparison
- Are there any significant limitations in the Gov version compared to the commercial Enterprise version?
- Specifically, are all the latest AI features and automation tools available in the Gov environment?
- Migration Process
- If I decide to move to the Gov environment, is there a recommended way to migrate my existing sheets and data from my commercial account to my Gov account?
- Collaboration with Colleagues
- If my colleagues continue using the commercial version, will I still be able to share sheets and collaborate with them seamlessly from a Gov account?
- License & Access
- Given that GE Aerospace has Smartsheet Gov linked through M365, can I use the Gov environment without additional individual licensing costs?
- If not, what is the typical licensing model for users in my situation?
If available, I would greatly appreciate a comparison guide or your recommendation on which environment (Commercial vs Gov) is best suited for a GE Aerospace user.
Best Regards,
