We are trying to develop a Smartsheet solution to replace an Excel file that is bursting at the seams and is running slowly due to the number of columns and rows. The existing Excel spreadsheets break down configurations, determining the number of units based on total volume and percentage. The ultimate desired end state is being able to quickly and efficiently slice data for easy reporting across multiple tabs. Full dashboards may be desired in the future but are not part of this first phase.
Here is a general mockup of the tables we are working with - there are multiple tabs following the same format based on geographic location:
Underneath these percentages breaks down each Option configuration (e.g. Option A, Small, Standard, Yes, Red, and so on for each year). These are ultimately brought together via Pivot Table to view multiple geographies and combinations.
One big component of the desired solution is that the input (percentages, total volume) needs to be dynamic and easily changed, which affects cells across the solution. Is there a way to bring this into Smartsheet in a user-friendly interface?
