Why Admin unable to create/save a sheet in a worksapce

Hello Smartsheet Community,

I am the Owner of a workspace named Source and also serve as an Admin for another workspace called Destination. I am attempting to copy or use the "Save As" function to duplicate a sheet named SourceWorkspaceSheet1 from the Source workspace into the Destination workspace.

However, when I try to perform this action, I receive the following error message:
"You don't have sufficient permissions in the workspace to make the changes."

Could someone please help me understand why this permission issue is occurring despite my Admin role in the Destination workspace? Are there any specific permissions or settings I need to adjust to enable copying sheets between workspaces where I have different roles?

Hi @Kiran Kadadasu

There are two settings that determine the ability to create sheets: asset permissions (which you have!) and plan seat type.

Can you check to ensure you're set up as a paid Member of the plan that owns the second workspace? If you're a Viewer or Guest on the plan that owns the workspace, you won't be able to create new sheets. The Seat Type overrides the direct sharing permissions.
