Formulas in Reports - Any way to speed up?

Question

Currently, I have a report connected to a single sheet. This sheet contains various formulas, including cross-sheet references.

When data is added to the report, the formulas will not update/work unless the sheet is refreshed. Is there any way to have the formulas values "pop-up", or otherwise load? It is somewhat misleading for all the formulas columns to stay blank unless the report is refreshed.

Hi, @Amark ,

If other users are viewing the sheet when you save your changes, Smartsheet will either automatically refresh the sheet or prompt those users to refresh it to see the new information. The prompt appears as a refresh symbol next to the sheet name at the top.

But if you want to work without saving and refreshing, you can use the table, board, or timeline views, which have continuous save and refresh for real-time collaboration.

I also use the auto-refresh feature on dashboards, which prompts a refresh to the reports that are on it, though I haven't personally tested to see if it pushes updates to reports that people already have open if changes have been made to the sheet.

Hi, can you explain in detail about the prompt to refresh the sheet when working between sheets (in grid view) and reports.I too needed the reports values to reflect without refershing everytime

I'm familiar with that prompt to refresh the sheet when working between sheets (in grid view) and reports. What I'm not as familiar with is working with these in table view, which reportedly has automatic saving and updating for multiple users...

Just curious, but have you tried switching your sheet to table view (if it's in grid view) to see if that saves/updates automatically when you click save on the edits made in the report?
