Lost access to all sheets – account appears empty despite correct email & region

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue where all of my sheets have suddenly disappeared from my account.

Here’s what I’ve already checked and tried:

I’m logged in with the correct email address
I’ve confirmed I’m in the correct region
I’ve checked my Deleted Sheets folder
I’ve tried logging in and out in all possible ways
I’ve used multiple search bars, but nothing shows up

What’s especially strange is that when someone else sends me a direct link to a sheet, it redirects me to the home page, but the sheet itself never appears.

My questions:

Is it possible my access was removed or my account permissions were reset?
Could my account have been disconnected from my previous sheets?
Is there a way for an admin to see whether my user was removed from sheets or workspaces?
Are there known issues that could cause sheets to disappear while the account still exists?

Any guidance on how to recover access or diagnose what happened would be greatly appreciated.

I know you noted that you're using the correct Region, however is it possible that the people sharing sheets with you are on a different Region?

Even if you are located in a different country (e.g. somewhere in Europe), if the sheet's data is stored in North America (.COM) then you will need to sign into the North American Region. Regions are about data storage, not personal location, does that make sense?

Can you check the URL that you are being sent, does it end in .COM (North American), .EU (European Region), .AU (Australian Region), or .GOV (USA Government Region)?
