Hi, I'm new to Smartsheet and was asked by a colleague if this was possible.
We're tracking maintenance needs for on-site business assets that will be managed by a large group of employees. I have a sheet with each asset and their subsequent maintenance needs, plus fields for date of most recent update for each.
I want to create a form where employees can fill out a response and the form will automatically fill in the last update and the name of the person who completed it. The problem I'm finding with forms is that it will continually create a new row for each response, and I don't want duplicate rows for each asset. It seems like linking individual cells will also limit me to a single cell instead of selecting the most recent addition. Is there an automation that would allow me to do this?
