Has anyone ever experienced an issue with a text column limiting the number of characters within the sheet? I have a Customer Claims Intake Sheet and Form. Very rarely does the Quality team use the form, they usually input directly into the sheet.
The additional comments column is where the various people working on that claim post their comments (even though I have encouraged them to use the comments section!)
I am getting complaints that it will reach a point that they can enter the information, but it doesn't show up. They cannot even scroll to their most recent comment.
I have increased the width of the column as far as it will allow me. These comments can continue on for months. The one I was looking at in particular started in Dec of 25, with the last comment May 6, 2026.
Does anyone have any suggestions, other than the obvious of using comments?
