Changing backup download save location

I am trying to download my backups and when I click "Download Backup" it sends the download to my downloads folder. There is never an option or prompt to ask me which folder I want these saved to.

I want to download them directly to a hard drive, I download a lot of backups and there isn't enough room on my computer to download there first and move across.

I had a quick look in my Smartsheet settings and I couldn't see anything. I am also downloading the backup on firefox - not the app.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried updating your Firefox browser settings to change the destination folder for downloads? I don't ever use Firefox, but in Chrome I'm able to choose where downloads go. It does still exist on my machine, though - you could use Power Automate to move backups to another place once it's downloaded.

I've posted about this before, but I wish Smartsheet allowed a sys admin to download backups for all workspaces at once rather than needing to download them one by one.

Thanks for that, looks like even in Firefox my setting for choosing where my downloads go is turned off. I've fixed that now. I originally was downloading from the app but moved to browser and I should've checked there - it seems so obvious now lol
