New Portfolio Reporting

I am loving the new portfolio feature that was recently released! The ability to easily create reports across workspaces is something we've been waiting for.

But I have a question about what will happen when we close a project and no longer want the data to show up in a report. With the portfolio feature, the workspace is tied to the portfolio and the portfolio reporting pulls based on the named report from the template.

When we change a project to closed, we no longer want it to show up in reporting, but I don't see how we would remove it without manually updating reports (which defeats the purpose of this amazing portfolio reporting). We do not delete old project workspaces, as we keep them for a reference for a period of time.

Does anyone have insights that might help us as we build out our new portfolio?

The Portfolio Report will automatically pull data from sheets located in project workspaces created through the Portfolio (Project List Sheet).

Therefore, to remove a closed project from the Portfolio Report, you will need to delete the corresponding project row from the Project List Sheet (or manually move that row to another sheet). Once removed, the associated workspace will also be automatically deleted, and the closed project will no longer appear in the Portfolio Report.

My recommendation is to back up the closed project workspace by saving it as a new workspace before deleting it.
