Hello Everyone,
I’m looking for some guidance from the Smartsheet community regarding AI integration and workflow automation.
I’ve spent the last 30 years as a Project Executive leading large-scale commercial construction and real estate development projects, and I’ve been a loyal and active Smartsheet user for approximately 15 years. Smartsheet has become the primary platform for managing both my business execution systems and many of my personal planning workflows.
Over the past 18 months, I’ve adopted AI heavily across both my professional and personal life. What started with ChatGPT has expanded significantly, and I’m now exploring more advanced AI workflows and agents through Anthropic’s Claude and other platforms.
My challenge is that I spend 90% of my day inside Smartsheet. While I have found tremendous value using AI in separate applications, I’m looking for ways to bring those capabilities closer to where my data, planning, reporting, and execution activities already live.
I’m particularly interested in:
- AI integrations with Smartsheet
- AI agents or copilots that can interact with Smartsheet data
- Automated reporting and dashboard generation
- Project controls, risk management, and schedule analysis applications
- Connections between Smartsheet and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
- Real-world examples of AI improving execution, decision-making, or workflow efficiency
For those who have successfully integrated AI into their Smartsheet ecosystem, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations, lessons learned, platforms, tools, or implementation approaches worth exploring.
