I am experiencing an issue with a scheduled report email that is not sending. I have exhausted all troubleshooting steps on my end and need some insight if someone has experienced it before.
I have set up a scheduled email via File → Send as Attachment with a weekly recurrence. After saving the schedule, the 'Next sent date' briefly shows a valid date and time. However, once that time passes, no email is received by any recipient — including myself when using the 'CC me' option. The 'Next sent date' then reverts to 'Never' despite the recurrence settings remaining correctly configured.
Troubleshooting Already Completed:
- Confirmed all recipients have Viewer access to both the report and the source sheet
- Confirmed file size is 98kb (well within the 20MB limit)
- Corrected account timezone to Africa/Johannesburg (SAST, UTC+2)
- Deleted and recreated the schedule multiple times
- Tested with different send times including same-day sends
- Manual send (File → Send as Attachment) works correctly and delivers to all recipients
- The 'CC me' option was enabled but I also did not receive the scheduled email
The fact that even the 'CC me' copy is not received confirms the email is not being sent at all at the scheduled time. The scheduler appears to not be executing despite showing a valid next send date immediately after saving.
Any Ideas how i can resolve to ensure the email and attachement sends at the scheduled time?
