Unable to add Group Owner into group member list

Hi Community,

When managing groups via Group Management in Admin Center, we found that Mr. Ariel is set as the group owner of one specific group. However, we cannot add him as an ordinary group member to the same group during new member addition.

Additionally, we have no such issue on other groups where Mr. Ariel is also assigned as Group Owner.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Could you share the available solutions?

U can try these two methods
1) Option 1: Remove and re-add ownership
Assign another admin as temporary Group Owner
Remove Mr. Ariel as Owner
Add him as: Member first
Then reassign him as Owner

2) Option 2: Recreate the group
If this is an important group:

Create a new group
Add: Members,Owners

Replace usage of old group
