Is there a way to import our list of existing projects into our Portfolio project list (not Control Center, but the new Portfolio feature by Smartsheet)?

My understanding is you have to create the project template within the portfolio. Therefore you can't migrate in projects. My approach will be to create existing projects in the portfolio. Then manually cut and paste the data across. I have up to 17 projects i would need to do this with. A lot of work, but in the end it will be worth it. Portfolio is the new future.
Thank you, Amy! That is what I started doing yesterday, but was hoping for an import option where I could at least import Project Name, Description, Owner, Status, Start Date, and End Date. We have over 100 projects in our portfolio, but maybe I should just focus on Active projects and take my time adding in the projects in the backlog.

I just wanted to mention that there is a recommendation to limit the Portfolio feature to 100 Projects to keep it sustainable. I don't know yet whether that's a hard limit.

Hi AndrĆ©e! Yes, I saw that recommendation in the documentation too and wasn't sure if it was a hard limit either. I'm going to try and see what happens! It might take me a few days to get there though. š
We don't need a workspace for each of the backlogged projects, but they still need to be visible for reporting and prioritization purposes. If I learn anything new regarding limits I'll definitely come back here and share the information with you all.
