Hi there, I have a form with an email address field. That field is a Contact List that allows people to type their email into it if their email address isn't in the list, as well as has the email format requirement turned on.
What my customers see is that, if the field is populated and you click back into it, once you tab or click away from it, it auto populates with the first email from the Contact List and blows away their entry.
Step to reproduce:
- Click the Contact List in the form
- Scroll down and select an email address far enough down the list that you don't see the top anymore
- Click off of it to another field in the form
- Click on the Email (contact list) field again
- Press Tab (Result: It selects the first email address in the list)
I can understand why this happens, but it seems that it's a usability issue. Anyone see this issue with their customers on a regular basis?
