HOW DO I CREATE ROW HEADERS that cross multiple cells?
Can I eliminate the "lines" between cells to give the appearance of a header? Can I create a header that automatically crosses several columns since there is no "MERGE" option??

That is not possible with Smartsheet. Every cell exists permanently within a single column. There are no merge options.

I imagine it has to do with the unique functionality of smartsheet that makes it more powerful than a spreadsheet.
