Pushing New Rows (Emails) from Outlook to Smartsheet

Hi- needing some help/expertise here. Thank you in advance...

When pushing a new row (ie Email) from Outlook to Smartsheet, is there an option to indicate where the new row will end up in the sheet? Right now it defaults to the bottom of the sheet, however, it would be great for my use case that the row ends up on top.

  • Hello Marianne,

There currently isn't a way to change where new rows will be added when using the Outlook integration. They'll always be added to the bottom of the sheet.

When you have a moment, let our Product team know that you'd like to see this feature added to the Outlook integration by submitting an enhancement request using the form under Quick links on the right.

If you are only bringing over rows to a small* set of sheets, then Zapier (www.zapier.com) can be used to redirect (or resend) the row back to the top of the sheet.

The API is also an option.

*small in this case means small enough for budget (each Sheet is one Zap which counts against Zapier account limit) and time (each Sheet is one Zap which must be set up and maintained)
