Permission to view a report in one Workspace that points to a sheet in another Workspace

I would like to create a report in a Workspace that is view only to a group in that Workspace, and have this report pulled from a sheet in another Workspace that this Group would not be allowed to view. ย This does not seem to work, as the Group permissions don't allow this report to be run since this group is not allowed to view the other sheet.
