Setting intermittent dates for a single task

I am just getting started with Smartsheets. So far, I am really liking the ease of set up and functionality. One issue I am struggling with is how to set up intermittent dates for a single task. For example, I have a single task where I want to set a date for every other Friday to meet with the client. I don't want to have to build in a separate task for every other week- seems pretty redundant. How do I accomplish this? Is this possible?

Recurring task dates are not a native feature of Smartsheets. But this article on Managing Recurring Events and Tasks has some great tips for scheduling recurring reminders/update requests that might help.
