Dashboard/Sights as templates

Hello all,

is it possible to save dashboards as templates? 

I want to make different sheets with the same template and different data, but also have the same dashboard and different data for each of them, is it possible to add the dashboard as a template and automatically have them connect to the data of the sheets?

Hello, 

Sights cannot be saved as templates at the moment but you can submit an Enhancement Request for this feature here so It can be considered by our Development team for future implementation.  

A workaround for this will be to:

• Save the template as new (https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1782802-copying-folders-workspaces) to make a copy of it.
• Then designate the copy as a template to be used to insert the different data you want to insert.

Please note that unlike a template, the copy of the dashboard can be edited and altered by shared collaborators unless you choose not to keep the sharing permissions.
