Newbie: trying to return cell contents if date is less than and greater than...

I'm new at this.
Let's say these are my three columns:
Open Balance | AR Due Date | WK 1
So in the WK1 cell I want this formula:
If the AR Due Date is greater than 01/01/2018 and less than 01/07/2018, then return the value of Open Balance.
I've tried, but keep getting errors. Thanks for your help.
