Key Account Management


I am looking to create a Smartsheet that will help me track my customers over the year. I work for a company that sells, deploys, and maintains ERP systems. That is Enterprise Resource Planning. I look after the customers after they have 'Gone Live' with the system. After they have settled down my objective is to run with a 'Post Implementation Strategy'. That is, to establish where there are gaps with their current configuration as they grow with the product and prepare themselves for ongoing training. If there is a requirement for additional modules I factor this in and scope the requirement. I want a sheet that will reflect all twelve months with quarterly summaries. I want to be able to grade my customers along the lines of Gold, Silver & Bronze. I will then be able to assign a value to each of these criteria. I then want to be able to assign dates for visits to each level. The objective is to finetune my Gold opportunities and ensure that I have contact time scheduled in a Master Smartsheet. This will allow me to forecast potential revenue, and to identify when I need assistance from a technical resource.

I could roll up my sleeves and study all the Smartsheet tutorials, but in honesty, that time should be spent with my ERP software. If I can source a specialist for an hour I believe I could get the bones of this thrashed out.

    This Smartsheet I need is for use with my Manager on a weekly basis. I do believe that there may be an opportunity across our company for a comprehensive solution.

    I need it for me now though, so I am operating under my own license. I have an initial Smartsheet done already. I just want to work with somebody who knows all the tips and tricks so that all the critical information is accessible and available.

    I want to grade my customers into Gold Silver and Bronze.

    Gold gets a monthly visit

    Silver a quarterly visit

    Bronze gets a six-monthly visit

    By grading them I will develop a suite of products and professional services days for Gold / Silver / Bronze. This will allow me to forecast. It will allow me to identify days where I need a Professional Services Consultant to assist me with Customers.

    It will allow me to plan Campaigns prior to visits with my customers.
