Question... is there a way to automatically update information in a row when one row is updated on one sheet and copied to another sheet?
If not, is there a work around?
Thanks for any help!
Hi Lauren,
It sound like you could accomplish a part of this with cell linking but i can't know for sure before i have som more information.
Can you explain your use case in more detail?
I hope this helps you!

Thanks for the reply!
I have 4 project managers who track their tasks for multiple projects on one personal smartsheet. There is a column that assigns a resource (which all 4 project manager's share). This task row is currently being copied to the resources smartsheet. If the project manager makes an update to the task row, I need it to populate that change to the resources sheet. Is there a way to do cell linking in a mass case? There are close to 50 rows per resources sheet and I cant imagine the time it would take to link all the cells for all the tasks.
Thanks for your help!!!
Hi again Lauren,
I have a few ideas on how to se this up!
It sounds fairly complex but I'd happily work with you and help you with setting up a solution but I need even more information to see what would work best for your particular situation.
If you'd like we can book a time for a free discovery call and take it from there.
How does that sound?
Please e-mail me at andree@getdone.se and i'll set it up.
Have a fantastic day!
How did it go? Did you manage to get something set up?

I am trying to send non-Smartsheets users information on forms. I know I can create a publicly accessible and editable link for the overall sheet/form, however, when I set up automated emails with links to the forms, the links to sheets/rows still require a login. Is there any way to get around it so that emails sent…
