Daily Calendar- managing executive customer appointments
Team,
I am a sales manager and often i have exectutives that come in from out of town to visit customers.
Currently I create a calendar in Word that shows the executives availability for the days they are in town and peridocally i update the calanaer and email it to my team of sales people so they know the executives availability.
The problem with the method is that mutiple sales people may be setting up appointments at the same time and that leads to conflicts.
I am thinking this can be avoided with smart sheets and the information can be seen realtime on their mobile devices or laptios.
Is there a template that already exists for something like this? Is it possible that when-ever an update is made it will send out the entire scedule aumatically to the entire team?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There are a couple of calendar templates you could modify but you probably could use a task list with a Gantt chart. Schedule time date and times the exec is busy and use the Gantt chart as a visual calendar to see when they are free. You can schedule durations down to the second but not specific times, so you could add a Text/Number column and manually add in specific times.
