I've created a Resource View that shows resource loading by week. Is there a way to zoom out on the timeline to show it by month or quarter?

At this time the resource view only shows resource allocation by week/day. You can let our product team know that you'd like resource views by month/quarter by clicking on the Submit Product Enhancement Request link on the right-side pane of Community pages
