Hello,
How can I search the Activity Log for a sheet by task name (or parts of it) to determine who inserted a task? I don't want to use row numbers because they change as rows are added or deleted. Thanks.
The quicker method might be to right-click on a cell in the new row and choose cell-history. That will give you specific details about who added the row.
You don't really search activity log as much as you filter it. Same net result but if you think of it as a filter it's easier. There are plenty of log filters that could help you narrow it down.
Why not start with a really simple ... Highlight changes, then hone in on what interests you? Seems maybe the quickest/ simplest way? Then you can interrogate Activity Log.
Hope that helps?

Other users that are setup as leads on the program and have the same admin permissions I do are able to edit the Group, Filter, Summarize and Sort settings of this report, but I can not. When I click the Columns button it just says "Loading" and even if I leave…
