COUNTIFS function with multiple criteria

@MPath You simply missed a closing parenthesis to close out the OR statement before moving on to your Datum:Datum range.
=COUNTIFS(HoofdCategorie:HoofdCategorie; "Documentatie"; [Categorie Documentatie]:[Categorie Documentatie]; OR(@cell = "Test-instructies"; @cell = "Assemblage-instructies"); Datum:Datum; >DATE(YEAR(TODAY()); 1; 1))

@Paul Newcome Grateful if you could perform similarly brilliant analysis on why my formula isn't working:
=COUNTIFS({CLOCK}, HAS(@cell, Metric@row),{FlagM},"Purple")
It's supposed to count if things due in particular timeframes are flagged Purple. Instead, I'm getting an incomplete argument error.
I have defined references for CLOCK and FLAGM and the relevant column is called Metric.

@22Wordsmith Double check that both ranges are in fact the same size and shape and pulling from the same sheet.
