Report Error

I am not able to create any new reports. I keep getting the following error message:

"An error has occurred in the application. Please log out and log back into the application before continuing. If the problem continues, please request assistance at www.smartsheet.com/gethelp.

formName: ajax

formAction: fa_loadContainer

serverStatus: false

serverStatusText: CriticalException

errorCode: -1"

 

I've left a voicemail and sent an email to tech support, but no response.

    Due to high volume, support may have a delayed response.

    As you wait for a response from Support, here are some things that you can try:

    1. See if it's the amount of sheets that your report is looking at that is causing the issue. To do this, adjust your report to only look at a single sheet. If you don't get the error, you'll want to consider narrowing your report criteria to look at smaller groups of sheets.
    2. Sign out of Smartsheet and sign back in.
    3. Update your browser to the latest version.
    4. Clear cache and cookies in your browser.
    5. Temporarily use another browser to see if you still get the issue. (Also make sure that browser is up to date.) If you don't get the issue in another browser, your default browser may have an extension or setting that is interfering with Smartsheet. Try disabling your browser extensions to see if you get better performance.
    6. See if the issue persists if you switch to a different network connection altogether.

    If the above doesn't work, let Support know what you've tried once they respond to you. This will help them in the troubleshooting process.

  • Im also running into this issue. I have tried chrome, firefox and safari but the error persists. Im using a mac, could that have anything to do?
