Sheet update notification

while a person update old sheet in the workspace, how other users who shared with the same sheet get notified via mail automatically?

Notifications are automatic emails sent to users shared to the sheet when the sheet is updated. Here is information from our Help Center on notifications: http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/542904-using-notifications

Restricting dropdown options on forms but permitting on backend for editors
