Report sharing access

Hi,

 

There are 7 individual sheets with information on various industries in each of the sheets. I have created a report to pull information on a particular industry and have shared that with a collaborator. However, as he does not have access to the individual sheets, he's isn't able to see the information on the report. 

I do not want to share the individual sheets as it contains info about other industries as well.

Is there a way for this? Thanks,

Hi Meenakshi,

You can choose to Publish the report instead of Sharing it. If you are shared to all of the underlying sheets that a report accesses, you can publish that report and the viewers of the report will see all of the same data you would see regardless of their access to the underlying sheets.
