Copy a formula accross a column - not loose background color
You have a formula that needs to be populated across all cell in a column.
1) is there a way to do this without using the drag and pull across the column.
The problem I am having is that I am also pasting the format (background color) of the copied cell. My only choice is to redo my color format.

Hello Roni,
One way to automatically and quickly copy a formula down through an entire column and have the row/cell references change would be the Drag Fill option you referred to, but this will also copy the formatting.
A workaround would be to use the Drag Fill option, and leave all the cells highlighted from the fill option. Once you've filled down the formula, you can then click the icon in the toolbar that looks like a pencil in the bottom, which will clear all formats from the selected cells. This would provide the quickest way to remove the formatting after the Drag Fill.
