Attachment in an online Form

Hello,

I have creeated an online form but I need that people can add an attachment (image).

Anyone knows if this is possible and how?  I guess it is possible as this form I am filling in has  this feature.

Yes you can and actually is quite easy.

Go to the edit form window, pick "add field" choose from the right hand side panel "file upload" and drag it to the left pane just like any other field.

Then in the app your people would have to choose the location of the picture in the phone/tablet

I created an online form that I will be sharing with various individuals to request a response from. I am wondering if it is possible for me (the admin/form editor) to attach a document into the form for the submitter to view as they are completing the form? Is possible to have attachments already included in the form that the submitter can open while they are completing the form?

Also - I know there is a limit of 10 attachments for the submitter to attach to a form, but is it possible to attach a Zip file into a form with more than 10 attachments? Or is this not possible?

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to have an attachment in the form, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment

As a possible workaround, you could add a link to the attachment instead.

Would that work?

You're more than welcome!

You'd use a 3rd party storage service like, Dropbox, Onedrive or Google Drive and add the file there and then share the link to it in the form.

I understand how to attach a link or attachment into the grid/sheet view, but how would I display that in the Form for the submitter to view while they are submitting the form? I don't see the option to add the link/attachment into the Form view, but maybe I'm just missing it? Thanks in advance!

Hi Andrée. Please let me know how a person filling a Smartsheet form can drag a file from Google Drive. I am trying to avoid downloading a file from Google Drive to a shared PC and then upload it to the form, Is there something that needs to be done when designing the form? Thanks.

I am trying to add link to a document in my form so that when users open the form they can select the link and navigate to the document. I read this thread and attached the URL to the document in the workspace. But I do not see how I can get the link in my form.

You said to "add the link/URL to any of the text/description sections and when clicked it will open a new tab/window" but the only place on the form that shows a Description is in the form Title and I don't want to put it there. I am sure I a missing something - can you assist?
