Forms and functions
Hello,
It would be smart to be able to add hide field in form with formulas.
Actually, forms add new lines, so in a smartsheet where you need formulas you have to add them after. Not very smooth.
Right now, to make my smartsheet a tool for users i have to ask them to insert line manually in smartsheet with formulas already here.
Thanks if you have a solution

If you create the first row with the formulas in place and then remove those fields from the form it should automatically pull the formulas down when a new row is added. I use this regularly.

Hello,
To expand on what Paul is referring to, Smartsheet does support an auto-fill feature for formulas and formatting when certain conditions are met. The conditions for auto-filling formulas can be found in this Help Center article: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/1641473-auto-filling-formulas-and-formatting
This Community Post also addresses auto-fill as it relates to Web Form entries on a sheet: https://community.smartsheet.com/discussion/how-do-i-autofill-formula-new-rows-will-be-added-web-form
To summarize the links above specific to what you're looking to accomplish, if you'd like your form entries to auto-fill with a formula, ensure that the desired formula is included in at least two rows above or below the new row. For instance, if new rows are inserted by a form at the bottom of your sheet, you'll want your formula to be present in at least the last two rows from the bottom.
To test this in a new sheet, try entering your formula in the first row, then drag fill the formula down a few rows and enter some test data. Then, create a new form, hide the field in your form that pertains to the column that contains your formula, then submit a new entry to see that the formula is included in the new row.
