combination of a Smartsheet and an iPad signature

Hi,

I’m just quite new to Smartsheet and would like to know the possibility of using a combination of a Smartsheet and an iPad signature. We have a process that necessitates the signature of our clients. What is the most robust way to do this?

Btw, currently we are not considering to use DocuSign.

Hi Sepi,

Maybe you could use the Google Doc integration to have a pdf ready in Smartsheet with the information prefilled and ready to be signed?

We need to acquire signatures from our client as well. I found the best way to handle this was by using a check box on each row of the Sheet, setup a Report to only look at rows with check marks populated, and then use a Dashboard to display the Report (Report Widget).

By using the Report Widget on the Dashboard, you can have a row displayed based on the check mark. I used a text box Widget for the signature line.

You can setup your template to be printed on the Dashboard (company logo, signature line, etc.). Once the Dashboard looks the way you want, press the printer icon, set it to Landscape and Tabloid size (otherwise columns may be cut off), and then print as a pdf. This is working for us.
