Filter/remove closed tasks
One of the columns in my smartsheet is labelled 'Status' and fields are completed using a drop down menu. The corresponding rows are a list of tasks.
One of the drop down options for status is 'closed' (for when a task is completed).
Is there a way of filtering the list of rows to remove these 'closed' tasks?

Hi Ally,
Filters or reports would work great for this.
You could add a filter on the sheet to only show the incomplete tasks.

Would that work for you?
I hope this helps you!

Is it possible to add a comment to a column rather than a row? I have a smartsheet that has project names as the rows and some of the column headers are time points with the content being the time taken in days. I want to add a comment to the column headings to explain how the time points are calculated (e.g. number of days from 1st review date to final sign off date).
I can only find a way to comment on the whole row.
Thanks for any help!

Hi,
Unfortunately, there isn't a comment function for the columns, but a possible workaround could be to use the first row to add that information and maybe hide it with hierarchy so that it's just visible when the user want's to see it. I do this all the time for instructions, KPI's and more.
Would that work for you?
I hope this helps you!
