print row in Form format

Hello Community,

I'd like to print a row in the Form format. I can create a form from a Grid View. But I'd like to print the values to small 4x5 information sheets to be provided with archive boxes.

I will have hundreds of entries, and I need to print them independently.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Craig,

It sounds to me that you could use the integration to Google Docs to create documents that you then could print.

Would that work for you?

I'd prefer to work natively in SmartSheet.

Reports don't work, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, it's not possible natively in Smartsheet as far as I know. I think that the Google Doc integration would work great for this. You can set it up, so the pdf or Google doc gets attached to the corresponding row.

Do you have a mock-up of what you are envisioning

My initial thought was to use the functionality I describe here:

and print either the email or open the Update Form and print that. I think both would allow the results to be cleaned up automatically (a bit) before printing, but I haven't gone further than thinking about it.

The only drawback to the UR's is that if there is no update, the UR's remains "pending". I think the solution I discuss in that post might be modified to use a different automated rule type.
