Getting Permission Error Message Copying Rows to another Sheet
Hi,
Can anyone help out? I am getting an error message copying rows from a sheet on which I am the owner to another sheet where I have "editor-can share" permissions. Error message obtained is "You do not have sufficient permissions on this sheet to make this change".

My guess is that you actually need admin permissions for the sheet that you don't own.

That is probably the answer, but this may be a bug/enhancement request.
An Editor can:
1. Insert Rows - check!
2. Add Attachments - check!
3. Add Comments - check!
4. Move rows (in sheet or to another sheet) - check!
But not ...
5. Add Columns ... NO.
6. Edit locked columns ... NO
So, if your columns do not line up exactly (Name and Type), then you would be trying to add a column (one of the effects of copying rows) and it should fail.
Or maybe because there is a locked column.
If, however, the columns do already match and it still fails, and there are no locked columns, then it might be Smartsheet does not check if it COULD add the row before I says "no!"
I bet it is the last one.

I also have the same error. Nothing changed to my access and suddenly I was not allowed to move items to another sheet. Has anyone else encountered the issue? And what was the resolution?

This issue has started to occur within the company I work for. At 9:40 a user received the message when trying to copy a record from one sheet to another. At 1030 it complete without issue and we changed nothing other than having her try it again, while I watched. The error message reads - "you do to have sufficient permissions on this sheet to make this change" .... There is no additional content in the message box. This really started to occur about 2 months ago and is random. Any advice would be very helpful!!
