Counting Past Due Task on a Sheet

Hello,

I'm trying to see if there is a way I can put a countifs function into a project plan template that will allow users to keep a rolling tally of any tasks not 100% complete and in the past. Ideally i would like this to only look at milestones (0 duration) as i'm going to collect this from every sheet and place on a dashboard.

=Countifs([Start Date]:[Start Date], < today(), Duration:Duration, =0)
