I would like to move multiple widgets at one time on a dashboard. Is there a way to do this?
Unfortunately, there is no way to group or select more than 1 widget to move around the dashboard.
Please submit an enhancement request here:
Please advise if this has been resolved. Thank you!
Hi @Soren Hulgaard
Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

Hi @Julie Barbeau
I hope we'll see some enhancements coming at this year's Engage.
Be safe and have a fantastic day!
I have submitted an enhancement request, as this is a painful, time consuming issue that I have been dealing with in the dashboard functionality. So much so, I have looked into using other products that are more user friendly. Hopefully this can be something that is enhanced! Thank you!
Yes, I hope we'll see some enhancements soon.
You're more than welcome!
Was there a solution to this presented at ENHANCE? This is extremely tedious and frustrating when making updates/changes to complex dashboards.
Hi @Brian Grost
Unfortunately, there wasn't, but I hope the Dashboard update coming next year will improve it.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
Hi, just checking in on this Dashboard update mentioned. Has this been released and if so, does it address this question? I'm about to throw in the towel with smartsheet as it is hugely time consuming to not be able to move or copy multiple widgets at the same time.
As a workaround, if I add a full line image or a long text widget and insert it over the objects I want to move and I am able to push all the objects beneath at once a few rows (depending on their size). It not a good solution but better than 1 by 1.

I have some very simple data I need graphed for a project: Not Started, In Progress, Complete and then % Complete using the total. The pie chart for the Not Started etc. comes out correct: But when I ask it to graph just % complete, it does…
Hello, I am working on a training log for our company. I am trying to get the status color to turn green if training is completed, yellow if it is due in the future, and red if it is incomplete. I keep getting an incorrect argument. I had it working correctly when I was just doing red and green, but I really need that go…
Hi, I have a sheet that collects data from several forms. I have an automation that kicks off every Thursday at 5:00 AM to move all the data in the sheet to an archive sheet, I have another automation that is supposed to kick off at 8:00 on Thursday to check if the column is blank, then alert someone via an email to enter…
