Unfortunately, there is no way to group or select more than 1 widget to move around the dashboard.

Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment, but it's an excellent idea!

I have submitted an enhancement request, as this is a painful, time consuming issue that I have been dealing with in the dashboard functionality. So much so, I have looked into using other products that are more user friendly. Hopefully this can be something that is enhanced! Thank you!

Was there a solution to this presented at ENHANCE? This is extremely tedious and frustrating when making updates/changes to complex dashboards.

Hi @Brian Grost
Unfortunately, there wasn't, but I hope the Dashboard update coming next year will improve it.
I hope that helps!
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Hi, just checking in on this Dashboard update mentioned. Has this been released and if so, does it address this question? I'm about to throw in the towel with smartsheet as it is hugely time consuming to not be able to move or copy multiple widgets at the same time.
-
As a workaround, if I add a full line image or a long text widget and insert it over the objects I want to move and I am able to push all the objects beneath at once a few rows (depending on their size). It not a good solution but better than 1 by 1.
-
This was back in 2020 and still no enhancement? It's very frustrating that you have to move one item at a time if you are wanting to add something in the middle of the Dashboard.
-
It’s possible to drag and move multiple widgets at once. You can do so either by clicking and dragging over a selection of widgets to highlight them, or by holding Ctrl (or Cmd on a Mac) and then clicking each widget you want to move. Once all the desired widgets are selected, you can then drag the selection to the desired location in the dashboard.
Check out this article for more information on editing widgets: Add and edit widgets on your dashboard.
Hope that helps!
