Hyperlinks for sheets do not work, when the sheet is exported to a pdf.
However it does work when exported to excel. Any reason for this ?
Hi Mohammed,
I tested this on my end and found that when exporting a sheet with a hyperlink to PDF the hyperlink will work if it is displayed as the URL, but it will not appear as blue. I understand how this could be confusing. I’d be happy to pass this feedback along to our product team.
I hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Alejandra
@Alejandra : When a displayed URL wraps around in the PDF export, the hyperlink is broken.
When clicking on the link, I see the browser only registers the 1st line of the hyperlink.
For example: If my hyperlink was "https://ThisismyreallyLonghyperlink.com/somethingelse/bla/bla/bla"
The PDF Export would display that value in multiple lines as expected. Something like:
https://ThisismyreallyLonghyp
erlink.com/somethingelse/bla/
bla/bla
When cilcking on the link, the browser only sees "https://ThisismyreallyLonghyp" as the hyperlink.
As a workaround, we could export first to Excel. And then print to PDF from Excel or whatever spreadsheet tool the user uses. But ideally, Smartsheet should fix the hyperlink export to support multiple lines.
Thanks.
Is it possible to auto-populate an email domain in a field where people are asked to enter their email address? For example, I would like users to only have to type their name, without needing to enter anything after the “@” symbol, to reduce the chance of personal email addresses being entered.

I have created a workspace that I need members of Company B to edit. Do I need to make them members on my account if they are already members on their account? Or do I just need to add their…
